Dehydration is a condition in which you use or perhaps lose more fluid than you take in. In this condition, your body does not have enough water or other fluids to carry out its normal functions. If you lose fluids and fail to replace it, you will get dehydrated.

Yes, you can actually have your water and eat it at the same time. Soup, oatmeal and yogurt are great options if you want to stay hydrated. However, you can also try fresh fruits and vegetables, as they can help with your hydration.

Watermelon is considered as a major thirst quencher. This fruit is made up of 92 percent water. Not just that, this fruit is also a good source of vitamin A, vitamin C and potassium. Another great option that can help boost hydration is celery. While this may be one of the most overlooked vegetable, its stalks are composed of 95 percent water. Not just that, celery is also high in fiber and minerals like vitamin K and potassium.

Cucumbers are composed of 96 percent water, making this an ideal vegetable to eat if you want to stay hydrated. Cucumbers contain vitamin B6, vitamin K, and iron. Strawberries are also great if you want to stay hydrated, as they are composed of 92 percent water. They also contain fiber and vitamin C. Salads containing lettuce are also great for hydration. Sports drinks are also good if you want to stay hydrated, as they contain sugar and sodium. These electrolytes can help balance your body after a grueling workout. Coconut water is low in carbohydrates and rich in potassium, making it an ideal drink for hydration.
